Munich, December 14th 2011 – InLoox, the Munich-based expert in Outlook-integrated business software, has released InLoox PM 7.0.4. The update of the project management software for Microsoft Outlook offers a significantly improved performance.

 For the update, the performance of InLoox PM for Outlook and the exchange of data between InLoox PM and the data base have been completely revised and optimized. This accelerates working with InLoox PM significantly and users can benefit even more from the various new features provided by version 7. Especially users at company sites with a lower network speed or team members accessing InLoox PM projects in a company network from their home offices will profit from this.

A main focus of the major version InLoox PM 7 which was released in fall 2011 is to make project management considerably faster and more comfortable. Beside the new Microsoft Outlook 2010 user interface design, many smaller innovations such as the in-line editing of planning elements, the undo feature or the multi-editing of several elements contribute to a remarkably greater ease of use. Numerous new features in project time planning as well as individual working time calendars, skill management and time tracking with a stop watch have been added. All these features can show their strengths even better due to the improved performance of version 7.0.4.

Along with the improved performance, the compatibility of Microsoft Project 2010 file import and export has been enhanced. Project plans can be exchanged between InLoox PM and Microsoft Project to an even greater extent. The advantage: Users neither have to have Microsoft Project knowledge nor do they have to install the program itself to be able to create, read in and use Microsoft Project files.

Users who work with 64 bit Outlook systems can now export their InLoox PM project reports as PDF files. The integration of a List & Label 16 service pack into InLoox PM 7.0.4 makes this possible.

This and even more improvements are available with the update and free of charge for customers of version 7. New customers can obtain the single user version InLoox PM Personal for 390 euros. The multi-user versions InLoox PM Workgroup Server and InLoox PM Enterprise Server are available at 890 euros respectively 1,390 euros.
