Requirements

• Activate sideloading in the Teams admin settings: Make sure that the sideloading of apps is activated in the Teams admin settings. This is usually a task for the IT administrator. In the Teams admin settings, there is an option to enable sideloading for your organization or specific teams.
• ZIP file of the Teams app: Make sure you have the ZIP file of the Teams app. This file contains all the necessary components of the app, such as the manifest and the associated resources.

Installation of the InLoox App in Teams

1. Open Microsoft Teams.
2. Navigate to Apps in the bottom left corner.
3. In the App Store interface at the bottom left, select Manage your apps and then Upload an app. The exact naming may vary depending on which version of Teams you are using.
   

   

4. Select Upload a custom app and navigate to the ZIP file of your Teams app on your computer. Select the file and confirm the upload.
5. After uploading, you may need to confirm some permissions or settings. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
6. After successful installation, you can find InLoox in the app bar on the left-hand side or under Apps.
   Tip To ensure that the app is permanently displayed in the app bar, we recommend right-clicking on the app and then clicking on Pin.
   

   

7. Now click on Sign In to InLoox and log in as usual.

Your workspace and your projects will then be displayed as you are used to from InLoox Web App. In contrast to InLoox Web App, you will find the individual menu items, i.e. projects, tasks, time, workload, etc., arranged horizontally at the top. However, editing your projects is no different; you can carry out all activities as usual.

Requirements

1. You need a valid InLoox now! 10 account.
2. The channel members must work on the same InLoox database and must also have the InLoox permissions for the respective project and project area in order to access the project information. Read more about InLoox permissions here. 

How to pin InLoox areas as tabs to your channels

1. Open a Teams channel.
2. Add a new tab using the plus sign in the tab bar.
   

   

3. Select the InLoox app.
   

   

4. Connect to InLoox now! and sign in with your InLoox now! account.
   

   

   

5. (Optional) If you have more than one InLoox now! account, select an account.
   

   

6. Select the project area (management, lists, tasks, planning, time, documents, budgets) that you want to link to your channel.
   

   

7. Select a project.
8. Check the box "Post to the chat about this tab" to notify all members and subscribers of the channel.
9. Click on Save. 
10. Work in InLoox as you would normally - directly in Microsoft Teams.
