Stans/Munich, May 16, 2017 - In the course of the opening of the new office in Stans, Central Switzerland, InLoox invited customers and partners to an exclusive event. In a relaxed atmosphere, the participants got the latest InLoox news and exchanged experiences in talks and workshops. 

Dr. Andreas Tremel, founder and CEO of InLoox GmbH, and Peter Ottiger, Country Manager Switzerland, welcomed Swiss customers and interested parties to the InLoox office in Stans on May 2. Under the motto "Project Management in Practice" the participants were offered interesting talks and topic-related workshops. 

InLoox in practice 

In the introductory presentation "Agile and traditional PM united: InLoox makes it possible", the participants learned how InLoox can be used for agile project management just as well as for traditional, Gantt-plan-based project management.  

The second part of the morning program was dedicated to how InLoox is used by customers. InLoox is used in companies of all sizes across all industries. Practical examples were presented. These ranged from SMEs such as AeroFEM, a Swiss engineering service provider in the aerospace, wind energy and transportation sector, to globally operating companies such as the medical diagnostics provider SYNLAB Group. In particular, the practical lecture by Markus Wyss, Head of Development at the Swiss company Reed Electronics AG, was very well received by the participants. After the presentation, the Q&A round was used extensively, followed by a lively discussion about the possible uses of InLoox. 

After a strengthening lunch break, the workshop "InLoox for Insiders: Adapting and Creating Custom Views" held by Peter Ottiger and Dr. Andreas Tremel showed how to create individual task and project views as well as dashboard views and save them as templates in InLoox with only a few adjustments. 

Exchange of experiences among InLoox users 

As much as the participants of the InLoox Insider Day 2016 in Munich appreciated the networking opportunities with other InLoox users, so did the Swiss. The individual use of InLoox project management solutions was eagerly discussed, as were the InLoox features and their possible applications. "We are very pleased that the event was so well received by our Swiss InLoox users. We appreciate the personal contact with our customers very much and are enthusiastic about the positive feedback," Dr. Andreas Tremel sums up the first Swiss customer event. 

InLoox Partner Event 

On May 3, Dr. Andreas Tremel, Peter Ottiger and Alexander Wacker, Director Sales at InLoox distributor SOS Software Service GmbH, welcomed long-standing Swiss resellers and new partners. Under the motto "Channel Business in Times of Digital Transformation", the business opportunities for InLoox partners were presented and discussed in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Personal support for Swiss partners 

"We attach great importance to personal contact with our partners. We are therefore very pleased that this first partner event for Swiss resellers and system houses was met with so much interest," says Dr. Andreas Tremel, enthusiastic about the positive response. The licensing model and the business opportunities with InLoox in the Microsoft universe were the focus of attention. The innovations in the InLoox now! SaaS solution were of particular interest. The need for cloud and hybrid solutions is a major issue against the backdrop of cross-industry digitization among resellers, system houses and IT service providers, especially in the light of Microsoft pushing its cloud services, such as Office 365. The new InLoox now! content pack for Microsoft Power BI is thus a welcomed new feature. 

Introduction of the InLoox Partner Program 

In the afternoon, Alexander Wacker of SOS Software Service GmbH presented the new InLoox Partner Program. The four-stage program was positively received and discussed in detail. "A successful channel strategy is largely based on a good relationship between developers, resellers and distributors. So far, InLoox has done everything right and with the new partner program has now created real added value for resellers," Alexander Wacker summarizes. Peter Ottiger, Country Manager InLoox Switzerland adds: "It is great to start an active cooperation immediately in the course of this partner event.”
