Munich, September 11, 2025 - The new risk function helps project leads and PMO teams evaluate potential threats based on probability and impact, enabling better project control. In addition, the current InLoox version 12.3 introduces the new “Project Health” dashboard template, task checklists, and time tracking in the InLoox Mobile App.
With the new risk function, InLoox provides another key control mechanism for multi-project and portfolio management. It simplifies project evaluation for project leads and decision-makers at the PMO level with regard to the quality of risk management. Risks are recorded within the project and assessed on a five-point scale according to their probability of occurrence and impact on the project.

“While developing the risk function, we worked closely with our customers, who want not only to make risks transparent and assess them, but also to enable their project teams to take proactive countermeasures,” explains Konrad Haenel, Head of Development at InLoox, adding: “By linking risks to risk-mitigating tasks, InLoox makes it possible to move directly from risk analysis to action.”
Better control in turbulent economic times
The InLoox dashboards now also include an expressive multi-project view with the new Project Health template, featuring key metrics from three central perspectives: time, budget, and risk. The dashboard delivers a real-time overall status across the project landscape in traffic-light colors – green, yellow, and red.

“The days when projects could simply drift along are over in every industry,” says Dr. Tiziano Panico, Co-Founder and Managing Director of InLoox GmbH, drawing on practical experience. “Boards and executive management want to know which projects, considering all invested resources, contribute to achieving corporate goals — and with InLoox they can make the right decisions.”
Agile collaboration at team level
With the new task checklists, project teams can organize themselves more agilely by capturing subordinate to-dos within tasks and making progress immediately visible. This facilitates collaboration, increases transparency of each team member’s contributions, and accelerates the feedback process. Especially useful for team meetings: team leads can display the “Checklist items,” “Completed checklist items,” and “Open checklist items” columns in the task list to identify where delays are likely due to outstanding to-dos.
Project time tracking on the go
The InLoox Mobile App for iOS and Android offers a simple way to quickly book work performed to project tasks while on the go. Once the working time has been recorded via the app, a description can be added.
“With the InLoox Mobile App, we want to make our customers’ workday easier, focusing on the actions that make the most sense to perform on the go with a smartphone or tablet,” explains Dr. Andreas Tremel, Co-Founder and Managing Director of InLoox GmbH. “Recording work performed in the project context is a high priority — first for project billing and second for resource planning.”
All other new features and improvements can be found on the InLoox website.
