Integration Center, Project Work Tracking & Project Performance Indicators

Munich, March 18, 2026 - Software vendor InLoox has launched a new version of its project and portfolio management platform. The solution delivers strategic advantages through its integration with Microsoft 365 environments, provides effective tools for corporate management, and gives executives greater transparency into project status and resource availability. Overall, it enables more productive project execution, with seamless integration into Outlook, granular permission settings, and synchronization playing a key role.

New features in InLoox 26.1 include the Integration Center, which consolidates all integrations and associated permissions across an organization, as well as a Notification Center for individual tasks and projects of team members. With four visual project indicators, executives and PMOs can instantly gain an overview of status, revenue, budget, and resource costs without having to create additional reports or dashboards. Also new to the project management platform is a time tracking area that allows Outlook calendar entries to be recorded quickly and directly.

Central control instance and seamless interaction with Outlook

The Integration Center provides organizations with a centralized control hub for all Microsoft 365 integrations related to emails, calendars, tasks, and documents. Users can see at a glance which functions are active and how InLoox is embedded within their Microsoft 365 environment.

The interaction between tasks and Outlook has been further enhanced. New synchronization features enable tasks to be created, planned, and kept up to date more flexibly. Project tasks can now be directly linked to the Outlook calendar. If the corresponding permission is activated in the Integration Center, a simple toggle within the task is sufficient to place it in the calendar and synchronize it. Permissions can also be configured so that changes to InLoox tasks update calendar entries and vice versa. If both permissions are enabled in the Integration Center, tasks and calendar entries can be synchronized bidirectionally.

“Modern project work is highly collaborative, yet increasingly regulated and business-critical,” says Dr. Andreas Tremel, co-founder and CEO of InLoox. “With granular permissions and centralized integration management, we enable scalable project governance without slowing down collaboration. Organizations can clearly define responsibilities, ensure information integrity, and manage projects at scale. We see governance as a key prerequisite for productivity.”

The new in-app Notification Center consolidates project-related updates in one central location, enabling users to access the latest information without leaving the project management environment. For project managers and PMOs, InLoox 26.1 enhances transparency at the management level. With visual project indicators integrated directly into the project list, they can assess project situations instantly.

Time tracking area: Easily log Outlook calendar entries

Time tracking based on calendar appointments has been further simplified in version 26.1. In the time tracking calendar, project team members can work in daily, weekly, or workweek views. Their Outlook appointments can be displayed with a simple toggle. An additional “Recorded” column provides an instant overview of which entries have already been logged. Recording time is straightforward and can be completed in just a few steps by selecting the appointment, recording it, and assigning it to a project. Time entries can be flexibly adjusted, moved, or duplicated using drag and drop. In addition, time entries can also be recorded independently of Outlook, and users can switch between calendar and list views as needed.

“Organizations can centrally control their projects from a single location, manage them more transparently, and more tightly integrate tasks, documents, and appointments within Microsoft 365 environments,” says Dr. Tiziano Panico, co-founder and CEO of InLoox. “With the Integration Center, we are deepening InLoox’s integration into Microsoft 365. With InLoox 26.1, our goal is to seamlessly embed project work into existing work environments and facilitate the efficient processing of project information through automation. Consistent data, fewer media disruptions, and our integration architecture ensure both transparency and administrative control.”
