Add Columns to Project Tasks List View

You can add your own custom field as a column in the project task list. These additional fields are:

  • specific for this project
  • not visible or usable in other projects
  • not visible to or usable by other InLoox users in your account
  • not selectable in the multi-project task list
  • not savable to a project task template
  • not visible in the task side panel
  • always added towards the right hand side of the project task list

1. Open a project and go to the tasks.

2. Switch from Kanban view to list view by clicking the list view button on left.

3. Then click on the button + Add Field and select the type. You may add:

  • a String field for text field
  • a Datetime for a date and time field
  • an Integer for a whole numbers field
  • a Decimal for a decimal numbers field
  • a Boolean for a checkbox field
  • a List for a list field
  • a Currency for a currency number field (currency is taken from your InLoox account settings)

5. Once you have select the type of field, name it and fill in the details. E. g. for a list field the various list items. 

6. Then click OK.

7. The new column is added to the right. You may move the column to another place, but it will not stay there once you close the project task list and open another tab or project.

You can filter and sort the list by the added column(s). You may also group the list by the added column(s).
