PLEASE NOTE The Portfolio functionality is only available for InLoox Enterprise Plus and InLoox On-Prem Editions

PLEASE NOTE You need the user permission setting for portfolios in order to use this feature. Go to the InLoox Settings >> User Management and activate the setting Portfolio for those InLoox users, who need it. You may need to contact your InLoox admin to do that for you.

The portfolio feature allows you to bundle single projects into a portfolio. InLoox allows you to put project proposals or projects in a portfolio. In the list view, you can use the columns to filter, sort and group your portfolio according to your individual KPIs.

Create a project portfolio

  1. In the menu, click on Portfolios.
  2. Then click on the button New Portfolio and type in the name of the new portfolio.
  3. Now, select project proposals from the tab Project Proposals or projects from the tab Projects. Use the search field to type in the name of the request/project, select it and then click on Add to Portfolio.

On the left side, you see the list of portfolios and can click through them to see the list of requests and projects in each of them.

Filter, sort and group portfolios

You can filter and sort both, the list of portfolios on the left, and the list of requests and projects of a portfolio on the right. On the right, additionally to sorting and filtering, an individual portfolio can be grouped.

First, select some useful columns with KPIs for your list by right-clicking into an existing column's header, which opens the column menu. You find a detailed description of all the available columns in portfolios here.

PLEASE NOTE In order to filter and group columns, you must switch into Advanced Mode, if you have deactivated it in the past.

Sort data in a column

Simply click into a column's header to sort it's data.

Filter data in columns

You can either click on the filter icon in the column next to the column's name, or use the filter builder for advanced filters.

Group by one or more columns

Simply drag and drop one or more columns into the field Drag a column header here to group by that column. The order of the columns determines the grouping's order.

Please, go to the help-article on how to group, filter and sort list views for further details.
