Bidirectional Links: Connect nearly Everything with Ease
This new feature empowers you to effortlessly link elements across projects, tasks, documents, time tracking entries, mind map nodes, budgets, budget line items, and planning elements. If an element is changed, e.g. the text in a document is edited or the line item in a budget is changed, the link stays. The bidirectional link allows users to navigate quickly and seamlessly in both directions between the connected elements. This makes dependencies clearer, simplifies information access, and ensures all related details remain easily discoverable from either linked item.
One click into the Add Link field does the trick: pick the element you want to link to from the menu and that's it. You can also start typing into the Add Link field and InLoox will search for every item that corresponds with your search query. Should you need to link to elements in other projects, simply activate the Global Search slider.
Project Groups: Create a Master Project in InLoox
If your projects are reliant on each other, wouldn't it be nice to create one master Gantt chart with dependencies, yet still be able to work independently in each of the project's schedules? That is what you can do with the InLoox project group feature. With a click of a button you can push your Gantt chart into another project's Gantt and link elements e.g. milestones and activities and thus created dependencies between Gantt charts. For editing, InLoox refers to the user's permissions: if you have no business editing a Gantt chart in one of the project groups schedules you cannot do it.
Creating a project group cannot be simpler: a click on the button above the Gantt chart gives you a list of projects to choose from - including a search field - and that's all that needs doing.

We have added three new calendar views in the Track functionality. You can now display your Outlook calendar in the month, week or day view. You can also view calendars that have been shared with you by work colleagues. As soon as you track a calendar entry to an InLoox project, the category InLoox will be added to your Outlook entry as reference for already tracked entries.
For this, three new InLoox permission settings have been added to your personal InLoox profile: you need to connect to your Microsoft account and allow InLoox to read and modify the events in your calendars, to read the events in shared calendars or to read and modify the events in shared calendars.
