Outlook with Hotmail-Connector and InLoox

Problem:

If you connect Outlook to an Hotmail account you have to use the Hotmail-Connector.

InLoox PM needs a folder to integrate into Outlook. Normally, this folder is created automatically on the first start.

Unfortunately it is not possible to create this folder, if the account is connected via the Hotmail-Connector.

This problem occurs under the following circumstances:

• You only have one mail account in Outlook and this is connected to Hotmail.
• You have more than one mail account, but the Hotmail account is the primary mail account.

 
Solution:

1. Log on to the web interface of Hotmail.
2. Create a new folder with the name InLoox.
3. Restart Outlook.
