Question:

How can I install InLoox in a Terminal Server environment?

Answer:

Prerequisites:

To install InLoox in a Terminal Server environment, you need the Office data medium. Administrator permissions to be able to perform installations on the system are also required. InLoox works on Citrix and other terminals server environments. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the InLoox support support@inloox.com.

Please make sure that at least Windows 2000 Terminals Services (recommended: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Terminals Services) are installed.

Installation:

  1. Install the file “Outlvbs.dll”. You find guidance in the article "The InLoox features are not displayed under Outlook Terminal Server" (German version only)
  2. Log in as administrator on the Terminal Server. Open Outlook and examine the access to the public folder structure.

Please use the Whitepaper “Step by step installation guide for Windows Terminal Server” for the further installation which you can find in the download section.
