InLoox is compatible with Microsoft Project®. Project plans can be transferred easily between the two applications in both directions. InLoox users do not require any additional software. Microsoft Project® is also not needed. Project plans are created new or generated from project document templates and used in a simple user interface integrated with Outlook®.

     


It is possible with InLoox to read, write and process project plans created with Microsoft Project®. Formats supported are MPX (Microsoft Project eXchange), MPP Procects (native Microsoft Project 98 – 2003 format) and XML (Microsoft Project 2000 – 2003).

 

 

     


InLoox exports standard data such as title, author, notes and keywords automatically in Microsoft Project format. Work calendars and progress data are transferred entirely from InLoox projects to Microsoft Project.

 

 

     


Microsoft Project need not be installed on the user's computer for InLoox export and import functions. This saves licence and administration costs. InLoox also recognizes the various file formats automatically. No knowledge of Microsoft Project is required to export or import project plans.
