Integration: Microsoft Office & Microsoft Standards

Strict conformity to Microsoft standards makes InLoox fully compatible with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office. InLoox uses the Microsoft technologies MAPI, CDO, .NET and the industry standards SQL and XML. Client rollouts with Silent Installation, MSI Deployments and Integration with Outlook Setup are very simple; InLoox can, of course, also be installed and set up easily and in a very short time using the installation assistant supplied with it.

Infrastructure: Microsoft Exchange Server & Windows Server

SQL Server (optionally Oracle, Microsoft or MySQL) and Microsoft Windows Server provide InLoox project teams with a stable, secure and correctly sized infrastructure. User accounts in the Active Directory, security management, replication, clustering and transport logs from SQL Server are fully supported. RAS/VPN and offline access are possible. InLoox supports also Exchange Server (versions 5.5, 2000, 2003 and 2007) and Windows Server (versions NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 and 2008).

Interface: familiar user surface

The appearance and operation of InLoox retains the exact look and feel of the Microsoft Office environment that everyone knows. With its user-friendly, self-explanatory structure, InLoox requires only a very small amount of training and hand-holding, raising user acceptance and reducing support costs.
